The Saturday after Brandon and Amy's wedding, we spent the entire day at home. I was exhausted and had some swelling in my feet, so I was pretty lazy. Josh and the boys did spend a few hours outside working though. Our yard looked a whole lot better after they raked. The boys are at such a good age. They love to help and look at it as time to spend with their Daddy. I hope they always want to spend time with Josh, even if that includes helping do things around the house.

Going to the Chapel...My Brother Got Married!

My brother and his fiance Amy became husband and wife on Friday night. It was a beautiful ceremony with a equally beautiful and fun reception. It was a bittersweet day because my Grandpa who was supposed to be a groomsman and walk me down the aisle had a mild stroke the morning of the wedding and had to go to the hospital, where he still is today. While we were happy for Brandon, we were so sad that Grandpa had to miss Brandon's big day. We're just thankful that he is doing well now and we're hoping that he will go home soon. Here are a few pictures from the big day...

On Thursday night, we had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding. It was very beautiful and it was nice to be able to spend time with family.

Here are the boys before leaving for the rehearsal.

Wow, this week is super busy! My brother is getting married on Friday. I have so much running to do to pick up last minute things that I think I should get my overdue oil change in the morning because I sure do not have time to have any vehicle problems! The only day that was/will be layed back was yesterday. I was praying the boys would sleep in because of them not having preschool, but apparently God is wanting to get me well prepared for Carsyn's arrival. Sleep is not coming easily lately and at my next appointment Dr. Mixson and I are going to have a chat about what I can do to sleep a little bit better these last few months. Part of my problem is that my brain doesn't want to stop long enough to sleep. I lay there for way too long thinking of everything that I need to be doing or trying to make sure I'm not forgetting anything or anywhere I'm supposed to be the next few days because I definitely have the forgetful pregnancy brain this go around. I know, I'm rambling.
Back to yesterday....Camdyn and Cayde had two special little friends (who happen to be girls) come over for a few hours while Mama took their Daddy to the doctor. They had a blast playing together and definitely had some interesting conversations going on. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon.

Pray for Haiti

"The earthquake reminds us that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only real message of hope. The cross of Christ declares that Jesus loves Haiti -- and the Haitian people are the objects of his love. Christ would have us show the Haitian nation his love, and share his Gospel. In the midst of this unspeakable tragedy, Christ would have us rush to aid the suffering people of Haiti, and rush to tell the Haitian people of his love, his cross, and salvation in his name alone. Everything about the tragedy in Haiti points to our need for redemption. This tragedy may lead to a new openness to the Gospel among the Haitian people. That will be to the glory of God. In the meantime, Christ's people must do everything we can to alleviate the suffering, bind up the wounded, and comfort the grieving" -Dr. Al Mohler
